NOTES FROM THE DESIGNER: This is my first attempt at a Viet Cong guerrilla. This was a decently straightforward design since the Viet Cong forces tended to have very sparse loadouts. My favorite feature is the chest rig. I like how it turned out and hopefully I'll be able to use the design on future minifigures. The scarf posed a challenge, since fabric is difficult to realistically capture. When I encounter challenges like that, I turn to official LEGO minifigures for inspiration. The Ninjago line has many minifigures that capture the look of fabric in LEGO's design aesthetic. To get my scarf to look right, I referenced lots of belts and robes from that line. Props to their artists!
