Operated by countries across the globe, special forces use light pick-up trucks and other SUVs for a variety of urban combat missions. Using smaller, less militarized 4x4s (as opposed to wider and heavier vehicles) allows teams to move around discreetly through the narrow streets of densely populated foreign locations and avoid unwanted attention. These vehicles are versatile, customizable, and easy to maintain with just enough storage space for mission equipment. While the make and model may vary by military or operation location, nearly all special forces units utilize some form of urban combat SUV.
