About Schnellboot S-214 "Lang"

Brickmania's mega kit of 2025 is an epic, museum-quality build of one of the most fearsome weapons of World War II. Developed prior to World War II as a coastal patrol vessel, the "Schnellboot" ("fast boat") was used effectively by the Kriegsmarine until the final days of the war. While limited in numbers and small in size, the "S-boats" played an out-sized role in defending "Fortress Europa" and inflicting a great deal of damage to Allied sea forces.

This build is based on the well-documented S-214 "Lang" that surrendered to Allied forces after the fall of the Third Reich. It is a late-model S-100 class boat, fitted with the characteristic armored bridge, three powerful V-20 diesel engines, and a host of deadly armaments (two torpedo tubes, 3.7cm FlaK cannon, two 2cm FlaK cannons, and six sea mines. This model is detailed inside and out, with easy access to the interior spaces, and crew of 18 custom Kriegsmarine minifigures. The model includes the entire lower hull and sturdy display stand, but can be displayed as a waterline model for use in dioramas. The final detail is the inclusion of a custom light kit from our friends at BrickStuff.

All Brickmania® model kits are made of new-condition LEGO® bricks. This model comes disassembled and includes complete printed building instructions. This is a limited-edition kit and production may be discontinued at any time.
