When in Venice, the best way to get around is by boat. Even if you are a mild-mannered archeologist pursued by mysterious and heavily armed men, you better find a good boat. And if it is a beautiful varnished wood speedboat, that is even better.

Jump aboard and rev the engines, speed away and avoid the bullets whizzing by and crashing the windshield. A sleek boat lets you speed through the narrow canals of Venice, and you may even be able to slip between hulking ships if necessary. But watch out, the quick and slender boats may explode or crumble if they run across the spinning metal propellors of the boats dotting the Venetian waterways.
