About the CV9040 –  Swedish Infantry Fighting Vehicle:

The Swedish CV9040 IFV is mobile, adaptable, and hard-hitting. Debuting in the early 1990s, the original CV90 tracked armored fighting vehicle received continuous upgrades and today serves as the platform for 15 variants. In service with Sweden’s armed forces, the CV9040 is the definitive version, boasting advanced armored protection and a powerful 40mm Bofors autocannon.

The CV9040 was built for the Nordic subarctic climate, and it can take on rough terrain with snow, ice, and mud. It is fully amphibious, ideally equipped for off-road, wetlands missions. A powerful diesel engine gives top speeds of about 45 mph and a range of 370 miles, but it also may run quietly for stealthy operations. As an IFV, it can transport eight soldiers, but its heavy autocannon also makes the CV9040 a capable anti-armor weapon. The CV9040 has been a stable, reliable, and versatile weapon for Sweden for decades, and today it serves in the armed forces of multiple allied countries.
