About the BEEP WC 52 – 3/4 Ton Utility Truck:

Overshadowed by the fame of the ubiquitous Jeep, the Dodge WC-series Beeps, or ‘Big Jeeps,’ were the unsung heroes of the Allied utility trucks. Of the 380,000 Beeps produced, almost 60,000 were the WC 52 variant, built specifically as a weapons carrier to transport troops, cargo, and munitions.

The versatile WC 52 featured a low-profile and wide wheelbase, with mountings for BARs and Browning machineguns. The accessible open cab had a windshield that folded down flat on the hood, or it could be covered by a canvas cover. Capable of transporting ten men and gear and carrying a powerful front winch, the WC-52 was a reliable and versatile transport and utility vehicle for American forces. Highly popular with Russian, British, and other Allied forces through the Lend-Lease program, the WC 52 served on all major fronts from 1942 through the end of the war.

This is an update of our original BEEP kit released in 2002, with some parts updates. Includes printed paper/canvas rooftop and sticker sheet for vehicle markings.
